The riding here is epic and there’s plenty of variety to suit every taste, fitness level and technical ability. The region is famously criss-crossed with hundreds of kilometres of natural singletrack: sometimes steep and technical, sometimes fast and flowy, always totally breathtaking. For adventurers and gravity junkies there are high alpine passes, backcountry hike-a-bikes and full-on downhill tracks in the Verbier bike park. For those who prefer their riding a bit more sedate, enjoy gentle meadow trails descending from stunning mountaintops through picturesque forests, often with a café stop somewhere along the way.
With the use of the lifts in the Verbier area you can explore 100’s of km of trails or plan a much bigger adventure using the amazing network of lifts, trains and the famous yellow post buses that will carry your bikes to some of the best singletrail around.
Just 90 minutes from Geneva airport with easy access by train, the Verbier region doesn’t get the attention of certain Alpine resorts we could mention – and that suits us fine. Although this stunning location boasts some of the world’s finest scenery and most breathtaking riding, nine times out of ten you’ll have the trails all to yourself.
